The BRZ was named to the prestigious list after being compared against every new vehicle that is currently on sale in the U.S. The Subaru BRZ gained the attention of the judges for being as rear-wheel drive coupe with a powerful performance and sporty exterior to match, and for its ride both on and off the track.
"The Subaru BRZ is among the few modern cars you can enjoy driving at the limit without losing your license," says Jean Jennings, editor-in-chief of Automobile Magazine. "It's a hoot to drive ... [and] it doesn't cost a fortune to buy or operate."1
