Big auto events take place around the globe every year, but we tend to get particularly excited when an auto show is held not only on American soil, but also not too far from our home turf of Milford, CT. Of course we are talking about the New York Auto Show being held in the Big Apple this week, where the Subaru brand chose to debut the long-awaited 2015 Outback. Before we go into the exciting details of this versatile hatchback, take a minute to check out its premiere film down below.
This is the fifth generation of the sport utility wagon, which is also celebrating 20 years of production this year. The 2015 Outback is available in Standard, Premium and Limited trims and is equipped with either a four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower or a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine that pumps out 256 horsepower.
Upgrades on the 2015 model year include standard Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission) with paddle shifters, which boosts the vehicle's fuel economy to 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The 2015 Outback also features a more bold style with clean line and a front fascia with a hexagonal grille.
The 2015 Outback will join the new Subaru lineup here at Dan Perkins Subaru this summer, so be sure to keep your eyes out for it. In the meantime, find out more information by calling us at (888) 417-9205 to chat or visit us in person at One Boston Post Rd.
