Its modest horsepower and torque aren't what puts it on the radar of sports-car purists; its engagement and everyday drivability certainly are what does it. And we wouldn't write off numbers completely with the BRZ, of course, because it's exceptionally efficient for a rear-wheel-drive performance coupe. We're talking 34 mpg on the highway with a manual, which is better than some family sedans.
