Sports compact enthusiasts in Milford know the Subaru WRX pretty well. This is a high-energy, four-door sedan that wears its rally-car roots on its proverbial sleeve. Even with a few additions and some nips and tucks, you'll still recognize the 2018 WRX and WRX STI as the high-performance sedans you love.
This dynamic duo made its debut at the 2017 North American International Auto Show, and journalists took note. The WRX now travels on larger, 18-inch wheels. Suspension tuning improved performance, and Subaru advertises improved shifter feel. The higher-performing STI has larger, 19-inch wheels and only one electronic center differential (as opposed to its previous two) for better handling. Both models benefit from improved sound insulation and the availability of Recaro sports seats.
You can catch a glimpse of the upcoming WRX STI via the auto show footage below. You can also expect to see the 2018 model here at Dan Perkins Subaru as soon as it becomes available, which is slated to be sometime this spring. Feel free to drop by the dealership to experience the current-reigning 2017 model in the meantime.
