Performance
With each 2025 Forester, you have the 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer engine offering a similar level of performance to the previous model year. In addition to the standard Lineartronic CVT, the Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring trims have a manual mode that adds steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for added control over shifting. The 2025 Forester has an updated Subaru Symmetrical AWD system that provides a more responsive and agile level of performance over previous generations. You also get options like X-MODE and the dual-function X-MODE that further adapts the performance of the 2025 Forester.
New Design
The 2025 Forester builds on the popular design of the previous generations with a bold new grille and new fascia that provides a rugged and classic design. It also features compact LED headlights that work well to light the road ahead and the Forester offers a more aerodynamic SUV design over previous generations. Standard on all trims includes steering responsive headlights, welcoming lighting, power side mirrors, and Remote Keyless Access.
The interior of the Forester offers a versatile design with 60:40-split folding rear seatbacks that can provide some added cargo space as needed. You have a great new design with a contoured dash along with materials in the design that helps protect the interior from everyday wear and tear on Norwalk roads. The 2025 Forester provides plenty of leg and headroom for passengers and offers improved comfort thanks to the redesigned front seats. The 2025 Forester also makes use of a new roof panel that adds some more sound dampening over previous models so you can drive in comfort.
Some other new features includes an available kick sensor-activated power rear gate that can help you load and unload cargo hands-free. The climate control system also comes with dual-zone heating and cooling standard across the lineup with an updated design that focuses on where it's needed.
New Technology and Safety Features
2025 Subaru Forester models now offer an 11.6-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is powered by the latest Multimedia Plus system. Some models also offer a built-in navigation feature to help travel Wallingford streets. Dual seven-inch touchscreens come standard on the base Forester and manages the vehicle settings along with infotainment features.
The 2025 Forester features a more rigid frame and offers the latest generation of the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology system. The safety system offers a wider field of view while backing up and is more responsive over previous generations. EyeSight can identify pedestrians and cyclists easier and respond with automatic braking as needed on Branford roads. A new addition to the 2025 Forester is the Emergency Stop Assist feature that can be activated when using the Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control feature. When activated, the Forester will come to a stop, activate hazard lights, and unlock the doors before calling emergency services when it detects that the driver has become unresponsive.
