Remember a couple months ago when we celebrated the BRZ being named to Automobile Magazine's All-Star List? Now the sporty two-door model is making headlines once again in preparation for the 2015 model year's arrival in our Milford, CT showroom next month. As an added treat, the Japanese automaker is also bringing 1,000 units of a limited edition BRZ called the Blue.Series to the U.S.
The 2015 BRZ Blue.Series model is equipped with the brand's 2.0-liter BOXER engine, which is paired with a six-speed manual transmission to pump out 200 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. of torque. Special features on the model include a black STI body kit compete with a new front and rear spoiler, underbody panels and side sills which bring the vehicle's drag coefficient down to 0.27.
In the looks department, the special BRZ truly grabs the eye with a blue and black color scheme found on its leather seats, steering wheel and parking brake handle. There is also an engine start/stop button with the STI logo that illuminates in red.
The Blue.Series edition of the 2015 BRZ can be yours this July for $30,285, but quantities are limited to 500 painted WR Blue Pearl and 500 in Crystal White Pearl.
