The new Crosstrek Hybrid Plug-In uses Subaru StarDrive™ Technology to combine the efficiency of a plug-in electric vehicle for commuting in the city with the long-range capability of a SUBARU BOXER®. The result is the most fuel-efficient all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid in America. The engine charges the electric battery, even when you can't plug in, so that you will always have access to the efficiency of electric driving.

The Crosstrek Hybrid Plug-In provides up to 90 MPGe and up to 480 miles of total vehicle range. For everyday driving around Stratford, the hybrid system will run on a combination of electric and gas power, automatically drawing power from the battery first to maximize efficiency. The Crosstrek Hybrid will automatically drive in all-electric mode as much as possible to reduce emission and fuel costs.

The Crosstrek Hybrid Plug-In can be charged at home or with any standard outlet. When using a 120V household outlet, the Crosstrek Hybrid Plug-In will take about five hours to charge fully.
